Emerging Adult Stress Relief with a Life Coach
Anxiety and stress are a mental and sometimes physical response to the way we feel about ourselves or situations in our lives. Many people feel out of control, panicky or tense. But there are many easy tools and solutions that offer significant and lasting changes. Often, simply by learning to look at things in a different way, life can be seen and responded to in a different way.
I began working with Lesley after experiencing chronic anxiety and panic attacks. Although I tried therapy, nothing seemed to help. But after working with Lesley, even my roommate notices the difference in my motivation to do simple things like getting up every morning happily with routines in place. Things like staying in bed all day and feeling constantly anxious about the mess I was living in, now don’t even come up because I have a plan each day and don’t let it get to that point. Lesley helped me with real strategies that I needed 24-7, not just one hour a week. She helped me create real routines and schedules that alleviated the anxiety and panic attacks. This wasn’t like talking and thinking about my stuff, this was about actually doing the work. Together. It was really life changing.
